Seeking Talent for Montco Idol

The Norristown Times Herald Announces Montco Idol!

What is it?
Montco Idol is a contest that allows you to share your talents, be ‘discovered’ by the community, and have a chance to win a radio-ready demo recording at Forge Recording in Oreland.

How does it work?
Contestants are invited to submit a video or audio recording of your solo voice performance in the style of American Idol. Our panel of judges will select the top 12 submissions, then the community will vote for the top 3 who will perform at the Norristown Arts Hill Festival on May 4.

Spread the Word!
We know your community has talent… please spread the word, encourage your friends, family and neighbors to enter the contest, and show your support by voting for them online. Then come out and see the finalists perform at the Norristown Arts Hill Festival on Saturday May 4th.

Vote For Arts Council in Univest competition

Dear friends of the Norristown Arts Council,

We are in the running to win $1,000 from Univest Corporation in their “Caring for Arts Giveaway!” As you know, the Norristown Arts Council works hard to provide the programming, resources, and support to help local artists come together and grow our budding arts scene in Norristown.

The non-profit with the most nominations wins, and this would go a long way in the Norristown Arts Council’s ability to support locals musicians and artist and help our Arts District grow!”

Please “Like” the Univest Corporation page and nominate us on their wall. The non-profit with the most nominations by March 25th wins. As always, we thank you for your support, so that we can continue to expand the level of support we provide on Norristown Arts Hill!
