NORRISTOWN, March 19, 2012 – State Sen. Daylin Leach (D-Delaware/Montgomery) today announced a meeting during which the finalized art for the Norristown Mural Project will be subject to public consideration.
Leach invited the public to attend the meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 22 at Norristown Borough Hall. Guests will have the opportunity at the meeting to view the proposed artwork and offer their feedback and approval of the mural project.
"I'm happy to announce that the project's artist, Matthew Bush, has finalized his plan for the mural after considerable feedback and input from the community," Leach said. "I am eager to see the final product and encourage members of the public to attend the meeting in order to continue our participation with this valuable project. Like I've said before, this mural is a community effort and we need everyone's input to make sure we are all satisfied with the end result."
Also scheduled to attend the meeting are Deborah Zuchman of the Philadelphia Mural Arts Project, mural artist Matthew Bush, and members of the Norristown Municipal Council and Norristown Arts Council.
