Juneteenth Festival, June 16th


The hour long tours begin at The Centre Theater at 208 DeKalb Street in Norristown from 10 am to 2:20 pm with a tour leaving every 20 minutes. This free event includes a walking tour led by member’s of the NAACP Youth Council who will share Norristown and African American historical details.
This third celebration includes additional performances which speak to the head and the heart. Figures like Martin Luther King, Fred Mampton, Howard Zinn and Sojourner Truth will be brought to life as well as  more personal stories.
The cast includes Maurice Tucker, Richard Bradford, Bob Weick, Seidah Hill, Michael LeLand, Walter DeShields, Mydera Robinson and Tiffany Joyner.
The event is supported by a variety of local sponsors including Upward Bound, Health Partners, Norristown NAACP, Milligan and Co. LLC, The Norristown Arts Council, and H and H Realty.

Norristown Mural Community Paint Day

Norristown is getting its first Norristown Arts Hill mural and you can help with the painting! Bring the kids for a fun event. Adults are welcome too!

Join us for a Community Paint Day for the Norristown Mural Project.  All supplies and instruction will be provided.  All are welcome but pre-registration is recommended.  All painters under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
